My husband and I were determined to avoid big towns during this, our second, trip to Italy. Found this on trip advisor and thought it looked perfect… And it was.Our room was on the second floor with a wonderful view. A luxurious room , fully self contained. The castello offers breakfasts..sumptuous, and dining at night. Wevdinex o e night but the next night chose to self catet and enjoyed our meal under the stars in the garden.The staff are very friendly and helpful.There is a gorgeous swimming pool for lounging around. In the evening I heard the call of the deer… Magic place. Go there.

It gives one the sensation of being in a forest….really beautiful and wonderful to wake up to the birds singing in the early morning!! The room we had was large, clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the restuarant and the food was lovely as well as the service!! Massimo the waiter was really helpful and kind all the time! I would recommend for couples as well as families with children. There is a lot of space outside for kids and a huge play park for them! There are also 2 pools – one for adults and one for kids ….with a perfect view of the hillsides!! One can go for horseback rides as well! Would love to go back – maybe in winter to see the snow!

My husband and i stayed here for a week late June. The staff were always helpful. Took us up to our room and showed us around. Olga, one of the ladies who works there was very helpful all the time.  A smile was always plastered on her face.
